Strategy memo

A treasury loop that only runs where the rails exist.

PaperMill is a proposed Solana-native strategy built around the Papertrade ecosystem. Trading fees, if they are eligible, accumulate in a treasury. Treasury assets are allocated toward PAPER-related strategies that are actually supported. Realized rewards are intended to buy back $MILL, and bought-back tokens may be burned under a published rule.

How trading fees would enter

The intake is trading activity that generates an eligible creator or protocol fee and names the PaperMill treasury as the recipient. A fee that stays with a venue, a creator, or another program is not treasury inventory. No route is configured today.

Solana creator fees and Token-2022 transfer fees are different mechanisms. The memo does not treat them as substitutes. The tokenomics section keeps them apart.

How treasury assets would be managed

Fees that clear are meant to rest in a Solana wallet the protocol publishes. Management means deciding what stays in reserve and what is allocated. It does not mean a promised yield, and it does not mean this website can move funds. No wallet is published, so there is no balance to manage.

How PAPER-related rewards might be generated

Rewards are possible only where Papertrade supports the strategy and the asset can actually be used there. PAPER is not assumed to be freely bought, transferred, bridged, or staked. If support is missing, the station stays idle. If support exists and a reward is paid, the reward is counted when it is received. Expected rewards are not shown as revenue.

How rewards would become buybacks

Realized rewards are the intended funding for market purchases of $MILL. A purchase is a transaction. A burn is a separate transaction, and only under a rule the protocol publishes. Buybacks are not running. Burns are not running. This site will not invent either history.

How buybacks and burns can be verified

  1. Publish the treasury wallet and the $MILL mint.
  2. Open both addresses in a Solana explorer.
  3. Match each buyback or burn signature to that wallet.
  4. Treat a figure on this website as secondary to the chain.

Until those addresses exist, verification has nothing to attach to. Explorer links on the treasury page stay disabled for that reason.

Allocation, without invented weights

  2. 02Treasury reservesShare unannounced
  3. 03Supported PAPER strategiesShare unannounced
  4. 04Realized rewards reserved for buybacksShare unannounced
  5. 05Burns under a published ruleShare unannounced

The lines are guides, not weights. An equal mark means the share has not been published.

Planned and operational

Operational means the integration can be used now. Planned means it is part of the design and is not available.

Risks

The system is not live

Fees, allocations, rewards, buybacks, and burns described here are a design. They are not operating.

PAPER support may not exist

The strategy needs Papertrade functionality, asset transferability, and any cross-chain path the step requires. Those are not guaranteed.

Rewards can be zero

No rate is offered. A strategy can run and still pay nothing.

Markets and liquidity

A future buyback would face whatever market exists then. Thin liquidity can move price or prevent a trade.

Contracts, keys, and operations

No PaperMill program is deployed from this site. When software and keys exist, bugs and operational mistakes can lose funds.

Cross-chain infrastructure

Bridges and message layers can halt, censor, or fail. PaperMill does not assume they are available.

Records can lag

A website figure is not the chain. Explorer records, once addresses exist, are the check.

The token can lose all value

Nothing here is a promise of price, yield, or return of capital.

PaperMill is independent unless an official relationship with Papertrade is verified. View the treasury record.
